Even in the futuristic combat of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, you better take the time to collect dog tags.

According to IGN, Sledgehammer Games is bringing back the Kill Confirmed game mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Sledgehammer's lead multiplayer designer, Greg Reisdorf, helped unveil this returning game mode while playing with IGN. Mixed in with the likes of the new Uplink Mode, Kill Confirmed is a nice way of staying true to the Call of Duty motif while mixing in all the Exo skills of Advanced Warfare. Kill Confirmed has you collecting the dropped dog tags of each enemy that gets killed in combat for additional points. If you see a teammate fall in battle, you can collect his or her dog tag to prevent the enemy from scoring more points as well.

Double jump and use all of those other Exo Suit skills and abilities to grab as many dog tags as you can when Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on Nov. 4 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Pre-ordering Advanced Warfare guarantees you a copy of the Day Zero edition of the game. This exclusive version will give you full access to all of Advanced Warfare on Nov. 3.

Dog tags or not, this futuristic Call of Duty better gets its gun sounds right.
