Update, 7/9: Caitlyn dazzles in a new I Am Cait promo photo — check it out over at US Weekly.

It's been just five weeks since Caitlyn Jenner introduced herself to the world in a Vanity Fair cover story, and her supporters can continue to follow her story in E!'s upcoming docu-series, I Am Cait. A new 30-second teaser provides a glimpse of what viewers can expect from the show, and it sees Caitlyn spending time with family and stepping out into the greater LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) community.

"To Caitlyn," toasts a gathering of Jenner's friends in her Malibu home. She also shares a candid moment with her mother, Esther Jenner, who says, "My first feeling was, 'I lost my son.' Then I thought, 'You know what? I'm gaining!'"

The former Olympic athlete also visits a youth center to talk with LGBTQ teens about her experience. "Hang out with the people that love you," she tells them, "and respect you." Solid self-care advice for just about everyone.

Caitlyn shares some of her worries — "I want them to be proud of their daddy," she says tearily — but it seems the show won't be all champagne toasts and maudlin moments. When Caitlyn shows stepdaughter Kim Kardashian a dress she loves in an enormous walk-in closet, Kim flatly replies, "Mom [Kris Jenner] has that." You can watch the entire 30-second-promo above.

The newly-minted trans spokeswoman just launched a weekly blog series on the site WhoSay, in which she'll chronicle her experiences and her ongoing education about issues members of the LGBTQ community often face. “I have so much to discover and hope that you’ll join me on this adventure. Let’s live our true selves and make a positive difference while doing it,” she explains.

I Am Cait premieres July 26 on E!.
