“Broadway Rocks” Downtown Bangor This Thursday Night With Free Show

How about Broadway Show songs with an edge?  Yes, that's what you'll get this Thursday night in Downtown Bangor!

The FREE Cool Sounds Summer Concert Series continues this Thursday night with Broadway Rocks!  Broadway Rocks features local theater favorites Brianne Beck, Ira Kramer, Heather Libby, and Dominick Varney, and backed by Phil Burns (piano), Josh Kovach (guitar), Thomas Libby (drums) and Caleb Sweet (bass)!

You'll hear the songs that rock Broadway like, Green Day's  "American Idiot", Queen's " We Will Rock You", Elton John's "Aida," Billy Joel's "Movin’ Out", and more!

The FREE Cool Sounds Summer Concert begins at 6PM and runs until 8 right there in West Market Square!  As an added bonus, the Fresh Air Market runs between 5 and 8PM!  According to a City of Bangor press release, "Up to 20 vendors are expected weekly at the Fresh Air Market. Available items include artwork, specialty foods, jewelry, clothing and much more. Food vendors will also be on site."

The event will happen every Thursday until August 20th, rain or shine!  Here is the lineup for the rest of the summer:

July 30 - Jon King Trio; August 6 - Kenya Hall;  August 13 - When Particles Collide;  August 20 - Tomato Tomato with Goldenoak.
