Brewer Christmas Tree Recycling Info

Now that you're done getting your ho, ho, ho, on; the tree has to go, go, go. Like that right there?

Take down that tree and make 'so much more room for activities' at your New Year's Eve party. The City of Brewer provides you with a location to toss the tree. Any time until the end of January add it to the pile on the edge of the parking lot near the lower entrance to the Brewer Auditorium off Wilson Street. Each week the Public Works Department will take them over to the Brewer Landfill.

You second option is to take it to the landfill yourself during normal business hours. Just toss it in the brush pile. Landfill hours, including the compost area, are the first and third Saturday of each month from 7:30AM to 2PM.

Fun fact: Once a year, the entire brush pile at the landfill is ground up by a contractor, at no cost to the City, and the material is all reused.
