School students in the elementary-middle school in Ellsworth have been evacuated and safely relocated to the Ellsworth High School this morning.

Ellsworth Police report a note was found on a wall in the boys room stating their was a bomb in a student locker.

The students and staff were safely escorted to the Ellsworth High School and will be held there until the all clear is given at the Middle school.

Ellsworth police say a bomb dog from the Penobscot County Sheriff's Department is en route to conduct a more thorough search of the school.
