The body of a missing snowmobiler was recovered by Maine Warden's Service divers today. Doug Rafferty of the Warden's service says the body has been taken to the Medical Examiner's office and has been identified as that of 43-year-old Glenn Henderson of Sabattus.

The team used a remote operated vehicle today to retrieve the body from 135 feet of water. The search for the men had been suspended in February when the lake iced over and was resumed on Tuesday.

The three missing men are 40-year-old Ken Henderson of China, 43-year-old Glenn Henderson of Sabattus and 41-year-old John Spencer of Litchfield. Wardens believe they drove onto open water on the partially frozen lake in whiteout conditions on Dec. 31.

The snowmobilers are believed to have gone in the water on the same night a Yarmouth woman was killed when she accidentally rode her snowmobile onto the partially frozen lake.

The search was suspended for today. Wardens will meet again on Monday to decide when to resume the search, pending weather conditions.
