The biggest fair Downeast will open this Thursday, and for the first time ever it will be a smashing affair!

This year's Blue Hill Fair will hold it's first ever Demolition Derby on Monday, Labor Day, at 4PM!  Got a clunker that you'd like to stove up for a good time, you can enter it HERE!

The fair will open on Thursday, September 3rd, at 4PM.  Thursday is "Dollar Day" where admission is only $1 and all rides are $1 per person per ride.

Other than Thursday, the fair will open at 8AM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  It closes at 10PM every day except on Monday night when it will close at 9.

Special entertainment this year includes James McMurtry and the Heartless Bastards Saturday night at 7:30!  This will be McMurtry's second appearance at the Blue Hill Fair. Team Rock, the extreme martial arts breaking team will perform throughout Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  The Red Trouser Show, the amazing troupe of comedy acrobats will perform throughout the fair.  Also, you can take a quick helicopter ride for $40 Friday through Sunday at the fair!  Don't miss the fireworks Sunday night at 9! Regular admission to the Blue Hill Fair is $9, with children under 12 free.  All shows are free with admission.  Friday is Five Dollar Friday, with general admission only $5.  Friday is also Senior Citizen Day, with admission only $3 for folks 62 and over. On Monday, there's a "Wristband Special!"  Between 2 and 9PM, ride all the rides that you want for $20! There is free parking at the Fairgrounds.
