The animals, music, food, rides, crafts and the fun! Get ready, the 2014 Blue Hill Fair opens this Thursday at 4 p.m.

Something new to kick off the Fair this year is "Dollar Day", where general admission is $1 per person and every mechanical ride is $1 per person.

Friday is "Five Dollar Friday" where everyone gets in for $5. Although, Friday is also "Senior Citizen Day" where seniors pay only $3.

Regular admission to the fair is $9 and children under 12 get in free everyday!  There is no charge for parking on the fairgrounds.

Another special day will be Labor Day itself where from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. a $20 wristband will allow you to ride all of the mechanical rides you want!

Some of the highlights this year will be the band "5 Wheel Drive" playing the Midway Stage this Friday night at 7.  The "Flippenout" Trampoline Show Friday at 4:40 and then again Saturday at 4.

James McMurtry & The Heartless Bastards play the Grandstand Stage Saturday night at 7:30.

Sunday will bring Rick Charette and the Bubble Gum Band back to the Grandstand Stage at 7 and the fireworks display will wind down Sunday night beginning at 9!

Then on Monday, Labor Day, check out KSR Motorsport's "Night Of Destruction", the monster truck show which begins at 6 followed up by the local classic rock band "Whoopy Kat" on the Midway Stage at 6:30!

Dogs are not allowed on the fairgrounds with the exception of guide dogs.  There is no public overnight camping.
