Here's what's happening in Bangor on July 4, 2016.

First, you can start the day with a pancake breakfast at the Brewer Auditorium. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m, and goes until 10 a.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.

The 36th Annual Walter Hunt Fourth of July 3K Road Race begins at 10:45 a.m. (15 minutes before the parade) in Brewer. You can still register on race day at Brewer Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 10: 15 a.m. Registration is $12 per person ($35 for family up to 4 people.) Ont the day of the race, the cost is $15 per person, $42 for family.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. It starts on Wilson Street in Brewer and ends in Downtown Bangor.

The Chords for Cure concert featuring The Stone Doctors will take place at the Penobscot Pour House on July 3 at 7 p.m. and on the Bangor Waterfront on the July 4 from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. on the Penobscot River.
