A Bangor taxi cab driver told police he was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night by a man and a woman on Main Street in the city's downtown.

Bangor Police on Monday said the suspects were described as a man and a woman, both appearing to be white. Both suspects were dressed in dark winter coats with the hood of the female’s coat hood being trimmed with fur.

The suspects entered the Dick's Taxi near Third and Union Street and exited the cab near the Main Street Tavern.

The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries in a scuffle with the male suspect.
