It's not just the noise from the Waterfront Concerts drawing the ire of some local residents.

If you are ever in the downtown, Maine Street, or West Market Square areas, chances are you have heard some loud motorcycles, it's part of summertime in Maine, but complaints are on the rise this year. I can't lie, loud exhausts on some bikes kill my ears for sure sometimes, but then again I don't ride.

As you can imagine, the majority of the grumbling is coming from late night riders.

Throughout the rest of the riding season, the folks at the Bangor Police Department will be looking for offenders whose speed and volume levels are at high levels.

The fine is $137 dollars.
