Bangor Police ID Motorists In Broadway Crash, Continue Investigation

Bangor police are continuing their investigation into a Wednesday morning crash on Broadway that sent one man to the hospital.

Police told WABI 5 that a car driven by Barbara Brown, 82, of Kenduskeag collided with a scooter at the intersection of Broadway and Grandview Ave.

The driver of the scooter, Paul Knowlton, 75, of Bangor, is reportedly in critical condition at a Bangor hospital. Brown was not injured.

The 10 a.m. accident diverted traffic for several hours Wednesday as police cleared the scene.
