A man who was struck by a car in Bangor earlier this month has died from his injuries.

WABI-TV reports 50-year-old Norman Stevens of Princeton has succumbed to injuries he sustained when he was hit while walking along Hammond Street in Bangor on April 7. Janice McCormack, 66, of Holden was behind the wheel of the vehicle involved in the crash.

Officials say McCormack is being cooperative with the investigation. The case will now go to the District Attorney, who will determine whether charges will be filed.
