After sitting chard and boarded up for months, rebuilding plans are moving forward.

Clean up is underway at the Family Dollar on the corner of Oak and State streets in Bangor. The discount store was heavily damaged by fire and had to be closed. That fire remains under investigation.

The BDN inquired about the future of the store to the public and media relations manager for Family Dollar’s corporate office. They say they will clean up the location then begin the rebuilding process.

No opening date has been set.

The fire broke out at Family Dollar February 9th.
