Bangor Could Break This Weather Record Tomorrow

Record highs for Thursday, May 18th: Caribou 85°F in 1986; Houlton 84°F in 1986; Millinocket 83°F in 2003; and Bangor 87°F in 1936. #mewx

With temperatures predicted to reach the 80’s tomorrow, Bangor has a shot at beating our record high temp of 87 degrees. That balmy May 18th was 81 years ago in 1936, according to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
They say the average date for the first 80 degree day in Maine is May 23.
