Hey, you wouldn't want to honor our veterans on an empty stomach would you?

Grab a knife and fork and belly up as The Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary presents the 8th Annual Veteran's Day Pancake Breakfast this Wednesday, Veteran's Day, at the Brewer Auditorium. It's happening between 7 and 10AM, and it's all you can eat for $7, kids under 12 eat for $4.

Veterans eat for free!

Money raised  will go towards  Bangor Breakfast Rotary Charities including the Keep Kids Warm Program for area children.

Then, get ready for the Annual Bangor-Brewer Veterans Day Parade as it departs the Brewer Shopping Center at 10:15AM!

Vets of all wars and conflicts will lead the parade down Wilson Street, across the Chamberlain Bridge, down Main Street in Bangor and past the reviewing stand, then up State Street before ending at Exchange Street. Veterans can then grab one of the buses supplied for the parade for the ride back to Brewer.

Many veterans have expressed interest in the popular "walking sticks" supplied by the Cole Land Transportation Museum.  Those are free for veterans and can be picked up at the Museum at 405 Perry Road in Bangor between 9AM and 5PM daily until this Wednesday.
