Bangor Band When Particles Collide Wins Big at Boston Music Awards

Bangor was well represented in Boston over the weekend!

Bangor duo, When Particles Collide won New Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards over the weekend. The Boston Globe said: 'the band’s spiky, muscular rock hints that this won’t be its last time collecting a trophy.'

Sasha Alcott and Chris Viner formed When Particles Collide back in 2010. Since then the group has released five albums. A 6th is due out June 2015 as a 6 song EP. Be sure to catch them at the Big Easy in Bangor next Friday (December 26th). After that they hit the road, playing gigs in New Jersey, Ohio and Kentucky.
