Pancake breakfast at the Brewer Auditorium from 6 to 10 a.m. will kick off Fourth of July events.

The Walter Hunt Memorial road race starts at 10:45 a.m.,

July 4th Parade scheduled to start 11:00 from Brewer into Bangor.

3rd Annual Boat Parade for The Lafayette Family Cancer Center, Bangor Waterfront in support of the Lafayette Family Cancer Center taking place in the Bangor harbor,  In the past, this event has welcomed over 24 boats each year and it is anticipated to draw many more this year; boats decorated with Cancer flags, and filled with participates dedicated to the cause of cancer research and cure.

Tommyknockers and More Bus Tour – July 4, 2013

This tour is the world's only literary tour focused on the famed author's Bangor. Come explore the sights and sounds that inspired many of King's works. Stephen King fans, Bangor residents and out-of-state tourists will love this unique and informative tour of Bangor, Maine...The Queen City. Tour participants will indulge in the inspirations of Stephen King's writings as well as the rich history of Bangor, Maine  This tour leaves from the Harbormaster's Parking Lot on 64 Front Street  at 2:00 p.m.

Bangor Waterfront: gates open on the at 2 p.m. for a concert that will run through 9:30 p.m., when the fireworks start.

2013 Fresh Air Market:

The market, located along Broad Street and in West Market Square, will be held Thursday July 4th 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM.  The Market is held in conjunction with a free concert from the Bangor Band in Pickering Square. 40+ vendors are expected .

Fireworks, said to be one of the largest displays in Maine this year begins at 9:30 P.M. on the Bangor Waterfront.
