A band from Ann Arbor Michigan had the awesome idea for making some cash! Vulfpeck uploaded their new album 'Sleepify' to Spotify and made $20,000 in royalties! The catch? The album is totally silent!

The scam was designed to fund a tour of free shows. Vulfpeck asked their fans to stream the album while they sleep. Even though Spotify's royalty rate is $.005, with fans listening to the album all night, they plays added up!

The album has since been removed because it violated Spotify's terms of service.
