The animal kingdom finally gets into the selfie craze.

The Australian Broadcasting Company set up a nature camera to shoot the Margaret River looking for crocodiles and thought the camera fell into the water and was gone forever.

When the camera was recovered nearly 70 miles away, they found that a young eagle scooped up the camera and had flown off with it and when they watched the footage, they found that when the bird landed, it started pecking away at the device and ended up taking a "selfie" in the process.

Thanks to their feathered friend, from now on all cameras will be bolted down.
