Avenged Sevenfold, Seether, Motorhead Among Rockers in 2014 ‘Rise Above Fest’ for Suicide Awareness

Hard rockers Avenged Sevenfold, Seether and Motorhead will be among the acts at this summer's "Rise Above Fest" on the Bangor Waterfront.

The all-day multi-stage show will take place on Saturday, May 10 at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, and will raise money for suicide prevention and mental illness awareness. The festival will also include performances from bands including Hellyeah, Trivium, Kyng, Devour the Day, Skindred as well as local rock bands.

The festival's names comes from the song "Rise Above This" which Seether front man Shaun Morgan write to his brother after he took his own life several years earlier.
