Bangor Bomb Threat Investigated
The normal Wednesday evening routine was interrupted in Downtown Bangor after a person called the police department just after 7pm saying there was a bomb in Pickering Square.
In order to establish a safe perimeter while they investigated the report police shut down Broad and Water Streets and Nocturnem Draft Haus, The New Waverly, and the 4:20 Shop.
Fort Fairfield Man Charged After Striking Horse-Drawn Wagon
The good news in this story is no one was hurt and neither was the horse.

Elderly abuse in Maine comes in many forms and a case being investigated by the Knox County Sheriff's Department involves alleged theft by care providers.
Detective Don Murray was handed the case after Deputy Paul Pinkham responded to a complaint of theft in excess of $20,000 from an elderly woman in Owls Head back in August.
