An Augusta woman faces charges after police say she stabbed her husband during an argument, and again on the way to the hospital.

Tracy L. Fleischer, 34, is charged with elevated aggravated assault, according to a report in the Portland Press Herald. She is being held on $75,000 cash bail, with conditions that she have no contact with the victim and her three children.

Police say one of the children saw the stabbing at the family's North Pearl Street home.

Police say Fleischer stabbed the man in the torso when he returned home from work. She then stabbed him again in the leg while driving him to the hospital.
