It's just a matter of time before they rule the world.

Boston Dynamics gives you what is sure to be a chilling look into the future with Atlas the robot.

Atlas is designed to operate outdoors and inside buildings. It's electrically powered and hydraulically operated. Atlas uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess terrain, and help with navigation and manipulate objects.

Atlas is about 5' 9" tall, weighs 180 lbs and is terrifyingly real, but if you want to feel better about all this, watch a version where Atlas swears like a sailor, it will make less likely to pee your pants thinking about the day when machine takes over man.
