Two men from Bath were arrested in connection to the Huse School burglary and vandalism. 

On October 31st the Bath Police Department responded to the currently vacant Elementary school on Andrews Road in Bath. They found a path of destruction throughout the building including numerous smashed windows and doors. Detectives collected several items as evidence including masks. These items are currently being analyzed for trace evidence such as DNA and fingerprints.

Bath Police Detective Sergeant David Beauregard credits the solving of the case to the entire community. He stated also that several officers utilized their contacts to follow up on the citizen tips and by the time the suspects were called in for questioning most of the details were already known.

On Friday, December 5th Daniyil Klimov (21) and Zachary Lambert (22) were arrested by Bath Police and charged with burglary and criminal mischief. Both charges are class C felonies and carry a maximum sentence of 5 years in jail for each charge, along with restitution for the over $20,000 of damage they caused to the building. The two suspects were released on unsecured bail of $22,000 with a Sagadahoc Superior Court Date of February 10, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
