Arcade Fire Documentary to Be Screened in Bar Harbor Wednesday

The band Arcade Fire rocked Bangor in 2014. Now footage from the tour is going to shown off for one night only.

The Reflektor Tapes documentary will be screened Reel Pizza Cinerama in Bar Harbor Wednesday evening. The film starts at 6PM. It's one of three screenings in Maine. Other screenings will take place the same day, September 23, around the world. The film follows the band on their 2014 tour which made a stop in Bangor in August.

Arcade Fire is no stranger to MDI. The band recorded on the island in the summers of 2002-2004. Even their first music video was filmed there. 'Rebellion: Lies' was filmed on High Road in Southwest Harbor.

Other screenings in Maine will be be in South Portland and Waterville.

Sadly the 75-minute documentary won't feature any footage from Maine. The cameras where rolling in Jamaica, Haiti, Los Angeles, London and Montreal.
