It's yet another huge blow to the Saturday Night Live line up...

After eight years on the show, Jason Sudeikis is calling it quits. He says the time he spent on the show was 'really, really amazing.' He broke the news to David Letterman last night on the Late Show.

Sudeikis has been a writer for SNL for two years and has been on camera for the past eight years.

He is latest in a string of departures from the NBC program. Bill Hader and Fred Armisen announced last season that were leaving the show. Seth Meyers will be replacing Jimmy Fallon, when Fallon takes over the Tonight Show.
