Reality judging competitions these days endure quite a bit of turnover in their judgeships, like the way the coming season of 'American Idol' will introduce Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj to replace the departing Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. So too could  NBC's 'America's Got Talent' look a little different if Sharon Osbourne departs the series, but king of all media Howard Stern isn't going anywhere just yet. The media mogul has announced his decision to stay with 'America's Got Talent,' but who else might fill the seats?

Fans of 'America's Got Talent' have little need to worry when the series returns to NBC this summer, for judge Howard Stern will indeed be present for the second year. The media juggernaut's participation in a second season had earlier been in doubt, while fellow judge Sharon Osbourne had previously announced her intent to leave, given an incident with NBC and her son Jack Osbourne. Howie Mandel will return for the show's eighth season as well.

“Howard Stern’s towering presence and opinions on last season’s show as a new judge made a dramatic impact and added a sharper edge to the fascinating developments on stage,” says NBC president of alternative and late night programming Paul Telegdy. “We know that Howard believes in 'America’s Got Talent' — which remains America’s top-rated summer series — and that dedication comes across in a genuine way to our viewers who share his passion about our amazing talent competition.”

Auditions are still ongoing, but what say you? Are you excited to have Stern back for 'America's Got Talent'?
