The votes are in!

DJ Times almost lost me as a subscriber back in 2010 when Jersey Shore star and human tool box, DJ Pauly D, was included in their nominees for America's Best DJ competition. Luckily the competition has gained some credible candidates over the years.

This year Kaskade is top dog! This makes it year number two for him as America's #1 DJ. Diplo took second, while dubstep king Skrillex took third. the rest of the top ten were rounded off with (in order) Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki, A-Trak, Wolfgang Gartner, Z-Trip and DJ Vice.

The honor couldn't have come at a better time as he released his new album 'Atmosphere' this week.

Kaskade was very grateful for the honor saying in a press release:

'Words can't do justice to how completely grateful I am to receive this honor for a second time. I am constantly in awe of the love, encouragement and energy I receive from my fan-base, which has continued to inspire and motivate me throughout my career. I feel connected to them in such a real way and their support is something that keeps rocking my world. I couldn't do this without them.'
