Pregnancy can affect a woman's body in a number of different ways, one of which is a heightening of the senses. This is apparently true for actress Amanda Seyfried, who recently revealed she can suddenly smell electricity, now that she's expecting.

"I swear to god I can smell the TV," she said, during an interview with Refinery29. "There’s this static-y, metal-y scent. Do you know what I'm talking about?" No, not really!

The Mean Girls actress failed to elaborate further on the odor emitting from her television.

She and her fiance Thomas Sadoski confirmed the pregnancy on Tuesday night (November 29) during a Givenchy press launch, where the Mamma Mia! actress showed off her burgeoning baby bump via a black Givenchy dress.

The couple first met on the set of The Way We Get By back in 2015 and reportedly started dating earlier this year, announcing their engagement months later.

If you’re curious as to what Seyfried might wear to walk down the aisle, don’t expect anything too traditional.

“I got married so many times in my life — onscreen…I don’t want a white dress!” she said in an interview with E! News back in June 2015. “I’ve worn so many of them. You know what I mean? The fact is, that kind of stuff is less about the ceremony and more about the commitment.”
