Alec Baldwin Definitely Has Anger Issues With Paparazzi, And Now Maybe Racist Ones Too

Hell hath no fury like Alec Baldwin scorned.

The New York Post, ever a beacon of truth and unbiased, unyellowed journalism (much as we are a beacon of sarcasm right now), claims that its reporter Tara Palmieri asked Baldwin about allegations against his wife Hilaria’s yoga classes. Baldwin didn’t respond kindly — Palmieri filed a harassment complaint against Baldwin after he replied that he wants her to choke to death.

It doesn’t stop there, though. Baldwin reportedly also used racial slurs against a Post photographer, G.N. Miller, who happens to be a black former NYPD detective.

Miller photographed the exchanged between Baldwin and Palmieri, and Palmieri actually looked pretty happy in the shot (see it here), so chances are the ’30 Rock’ actor didn’t terrify her all that much … but that wouldn’t make for an enticing story, right?

Baldwin is said to have called Miller a series of slurs that we’re too classy to print here.

“He was saying some serious racist stuff,” Miller told the Post. “He said some choice words about my mother, and he was telling people in the street that I’m a drug dealer … he could have said a lot of other stuff. But he used all of the stereotypes associated with black people.”

Of course, that’s just the Post’s spin on the events. If the racism story is true, it’s abhorrent — but Adam’s issues with the Post aren’t new.

TMZ reports that Baldwin’s fury with the paper stems from an article they published previously about his wife allegedly being sued by a student in her yoga class. Hilaria is alleged to have instructed the student to perform a tricky move in an overcrowded class, resulting in the student’s injury.

However, Baldwin asserts that the Post never printed Hilaria’s side of the story, despite requesting it, and insisted the class wasn’t overcrowded. In fact, the Baldwins say that the injured student even got special attention in the class for being careless and admitted that his injury was his own fault.

In any case, Baldwin admits there was a “colorful exchange” with the Post’s staffers but denies any racial epithets, and he and Miller have filed police complaints against one another.

Speaking of complaints, New York State Senator Malcolm Smith is now demanding Baldwin be blacklisted in Hollywood because of the allegations, telling TMZ, ”If these allegations are true, then no television network or film studio should hire the veteran actor until he seeks help.”

He added, “In today’s modern age it’s a disgrace that people still use remarks that provide hatred to others based on race or origin.”

That’s a big if. In any case, the only formal complaints that can be pursued further – since it’s a he said/she said case and no cops were present when the incident went down – are civil ones.

Who smells a lawsuit?
