Air Guitar World Championships [VIDEO]

I remember seeing a documentary on MTV a few years back on the Air Guitar World Championships. I'm assuming they were pressured to have at least one show that involves music. It's bizarre but people practice and train for this huge event each year.

Last Friday Oulu, Finland was the air guitar capital of the world. Crowds of folks turned out to watch competitors from all over the world rock their invisible ax.

Apparently Americans shred pretty hard, three of the top five were from the U.S. of A. Eric 'Mean Melin' Melin from Lawrence, Kansas took the honor of World Air Guitar Champion.
