Aaron Carter certainly knows how to take a breakup in stride.

Less than a week after coming at as bisexual, and breaking up with ex-girlfriend Madison Parker as a result, Carter is "relieved" to be swinging single, according to Us Weekly.

"Madison was not a good influence on Aaron, and Aaron is better off without her,” a source told the site. “He’s able to live an authentic life for the first time. He’s finally free and doesn’t have the anxiety he was having.”

And so, Carter's quickly moving on. After hearing that Chloe Grace Moretz used to crush on Carter years ago, the singer swooped in.

"Mmmm may I take you to dinner @ChloeGMoretz?” he tweeted, adding: "Hey @ChloeGMoretz - let's set up a date. The crush is mutual."

Carter explained his choice to come out at age 29 during an interview with The Bert Show on August 9, and said his looming 30th birthday gave him some serious incentive.

“To be honest, I’ve been thinking about it for years,” he said. “I just felt like it was something that I needed to do,” adding that he had a sexual experience at age 17 with a guy “that I had an attraction to.”
