Police in the town of Berwick were busy Sunday trying to round up a large pig that was running around town.

I have that silly nursery rhyme in my head as I write this. (that's what happens when you have grandchildren) This pig didn't go to market, and she wasn't headed home. No roast beef. But she sure had some fun!

In a post on the department's Facebook page, Police said the pig was to large to fit inside a cruiser, but did manage to chase a bystander into the Police vehicle. It also used its considerable bulk to rock the cruiser for a bit.

The story had a happy ending, however, when the pig was corralled by bystanders and some friends of its owner. She wasn't hurt during her trip to town and is now settled in, warm and cozy at home.
