A 99 Year Old Woman Graduates From Beal College After 75 Years[VIDEO]

Congrats to Jesse White, who just got her degree a mere 75 years after she should have graduated from Beal College in Bangor!

Jesse White is now 99 years young and picked up her degree on Friday. Why did it take so long? Back in 1939, Jesse couldn't afford the $5 transcript fee and when a friend found out about this, they called Beal and paid the fee and set up a special event at the school to celebrate.

Miss White has been in a wheelchair, since she was 1 year of age, when she was stricken with polio before her first birthday.
