Four people are facing charges after fleeing the scene of an accident that caused a power outage in Newport.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened at around 10:00 Thursday night on Roussin Road. A pickup truck containing one adult and three juveniles struck several trees and a utility pole after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The accident knocked out the power for customers in the area.

Police say all four people fled the scene, but were later arrested. The crash is under investigation.
