Saturday, April 30th, is a good day to get rid of your unwanted medication the right way!  Keep it out of our Maine waters and soil, and the hands of the wrong sort of people!

The Drug Enforcement Administration along with various police departments and groups in our area will be participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.  Last time this happened, almost 10 tons of unwanted medicine was collected here in Maine!

In the Ellsworth area, You're encouraged to drop off your unwanted, unused, and expired medications, whether prescription or over the counter, at the following location that Saturday.

At the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce building on High Street between 9AM & 1PM.

Or, at the following Downeast Police Departments between 10AM & 2PM:  Gouldsboro, Milbridge, Mount Desert, Southwest Harbor, Winter Harbor.

If you can't make it Saturday, most police departments have drop-off boxes in their lobbies.  Just drop off your unwanted meds with no questions asked!
