We already knew this but...

The National Weather Service says 2015 is the coldest on record for Bangor. Between January 1 and July 31, the average temperature was 38.9 degrees! For the same time period, Portland's temperatures were the 20th-coldest on record in the past 75 years. Portland also survived the coldest February and the warmest May on record.

More weather wackiness, July was the eighth-driest in Bangor. According to the BDN just 1.16 inches of rain fell in the Queen City.
