Hit em' out of the park for a great cause this Saturday!

There will be a Home Run Derby this Saturday from 3-7pm, at the Union Street Athletic Complex in Bangor. Knock cancer outta the park and come together as a community to celebrate Team Mimi's founder Tommy Hosmer, who will be nationally recognized for his fundraising efforts.

There will be food, raffles and giveaways!

Here is Tommy's story in his own words.

"I would like to tell you a little about my self: My name is Tommy Hosmer and I am 17 years old, when I was 9 years old my Mimi passed away from ovarian cancer since then I put a lot of effort to raising awareness of ovarian cancer and to Cancer Care of Maine. I feel proud to be able to raise money and along the way I have learned the that cancer effect so many people.
We can all make a difference in the fight against cancer, so please join me however you can and help make my tournament a huge success!! This is a Co-Ed Rec. Slow Pitch Softball Tourney all for fun, and all to raise money in the fight against cancer, all the money stays local and it goes to EMMC's Champion the Cure Challenge"
