19-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

A 19-year-old from Alfred was killed when his vehicle struck a tree Thursday night.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says Isaiah Fajardo was traveling north on the Gore Road in Alfred, just before 8 o'clock Thursday evening, when his vehicle ran off the road. It struck a tree and then caught fire, becoming completely engulfed.

Fajardo was the only occupant and lived about a mile from the crash scene.
